Filters with non-woven glass media suitable for operation at continuous elevated temperature (288°C) and capacity to take intermittent surge temperatures are used in utility boilers, cement, carbon and steel manufacturing units. The company carves these bags from Huyglas® varieties with different weight, construction and efficiency, to meet the demands of high temperature filtration from end users, where conventional needle felts like PPS and P-84® are not able to perform due to higher oxygen and moisture levels in the gas stream. Since glass acts as a heat sink, these bags can take care of hot particles coming to them without creating a hole and can eliminate the spark arrester from your boiler circuit.
