PSA oxygen and nitrogen plants utilize zeolite molecular sieve as adsorbent and produce oxygen/nitrogen by making use of the PSA principle. Under certain pressure, zeolite molecular sieve has different oxygen/nitrogen adsorption capacity i.e. much more nitrogen adsorption capacity than oxygen adsorption capacity. These plants are incorporated with PLC technology that controls the pneumatic valve to realize 2 towers for alternate adsorption and desorption as per pressure change for carrying out oxygen/nitrogen separation and producing nitrogen with desired purity. In PSA plants, the production of nitrogen gas from the atmospheric air is based on pressure swing adsorption (PSA) principle and oxygen gas using a special grade of imported carbon molecular sieves (CMS). These plants are available in customized specifications to the clients.
