Process Liquid Filtration

The process filtration division of Gopani Product Systems, one of the largest supplier and manufacturer of filter housings and filter cartridges, has launched an innovative new range of high performance filtration products, designed to help plant and process engineers make significant reductions in the installation, maintenance and operating costs of filtration systems. Filter cartridges with larger diameters, graded density structures and precise micron ratings offer exceptionally high levels of dirt retention combined with long filter life; perhaps as importantly, the design of new filters means that a single cartridge can be used to replace up to ten conventional units. The high flow filter elements feature a unique layered construction providing excellent retention across a wide range of flux rates. The cartridges have absolute (99.98%) micron ratings from 1 to 50 microns. Nominal rated cartridges are available up to 150 microns offering outstanding flow rates, maximum throughput, lowest thermal and hydraulic stress and the lowest pressure drop. The range of filter cartridges include melt blown PP – string wound PP – washable net – activated carbon – pleated PP – sintered SS – pleated SS, – resin bonded, etc. Filter housings are made with innovative features like lower pressure drop at higher flow rate, larger connections, air venting provision, robust knife-edge, moulded structure, zero bypass and leak proof sealing. These filter housings offer excellent chemical resistance characteristics. The larger body size allows for greater cartridge capacity, thus reducing the number of vessels normally required in parallel installation. The internal port has been enlarged from standard size to allow liquid to pass through with minimum restriction.
