FR series pressure sand filters comprise of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FGRP) composite vessels. The use of FGRP makes them lighter by 1/3 of the total weight of carbon steel. Moreover, the strength of FGRP is equivalent to steel. Requiring minimum maintenance, these FGRP composite vessels have aesthetic appearance.
- Polyester lining thickness ranging from 3.8 mm to 7.6 mm (as per vessel diameter)
- Vessel diameter ranging from 200 mm to 1000 mm
- Diameter 450 mm onwards
- 450 mm onward flange fitting
- 10.5 kgf/cm2 operating pressure
- 490 degree C operating temperature
- 250,000 times cycle test from 10 psi to 150 psi
- Completely resistant to corrosion
- Thermoplastic liner of polyester
- Excellent bonding between PE liner & inlet
- Effective curing at higher temperature
- Both top and bottom opening
