Permanent over band magnetic separators

Mumbai-based Elektromag Devices offers permanent over band magnetic separators. These have, over the years, proved to be the most effective for continuous, automatic extraction and discharge of tramp iron from heavy burden depths of material being conveyed on fast moving belts. The permanent over band magnetic separator is an innovation with many advantages over the electro magnetic over band separator. These are utilised to separate ferrous material from non ferrous materials for following applications: protection to process equipment such as crushers, pulverisers, conveyor belts, etc, by removing tramp iron from the raw material under process and thereby prevent damage and sparks that cause fires and explosions; protection of non ferrous material including end products by removing iron contamination; reclaiming ferrous materials and thereby recovering scrap for resale value; and salvaging material such as valuable tools, machine parts and cutter tools. These can be suspended over and ahead of the head pulley or almost anywhere along the conveyor line.
