Oil Skimmer

Amba Engineering Works has developed cost effective disc type Oil Skimmers for removing floating tramp oil from machine tool coolant tank. The disc driven by double reduction worm geared motor and the disc is partially submerged in the soluble coolant. As it rotates, the disk picks up tramp oil from the coolant surface. The disc turns past a scraper, which removes the oil from the disc. The oil skimmers are available in 300 and 500 mm disc sizes.
