Vens Hydroluft (P) Ltd offers a range of Mini Belt type Oil Skimmers. These oil skimmers are used to skim floating oil on water surface. Skimmers are available either as "discs" or as "belts". Disc skimmers are used in applications where the variations in water level are low and collection tanks are smaller – such as cleaning machines and degreasing baths. Belt skimmers are used in applications where the variations in water level are high and tanks are bigger and deeper-as in effluent collection tanks. - Special polymer belt with smooth surface to 2" width x 0.6 mtr length (or as required by the application) facilitating adhesion of floating oil in the tank to its surface on either side and mounted on a drum and designed to skim 5 ltr/hr max of oil
- Fractional HP DC motor to 25 W approx, driven through single phase, 230 V ±5% V AC, 50 Hz
- Rotating drum with knurled surface to impart low speed to the belt; wiper assembly with wipers made of Teflon to wipe off the oil adhering to the surface of the disc on either side
- Mechanism at the bottom loop of the belt to provide enough tension to the belt while in rotation
- Overall size: 200 (W) x 150 (D) x 200 mm (H)
