Oil Purification Skids

Filtek offers Oil Purification Skid, CK Series. It is ideally suited for efficient contamination removal to sub micron level applications. Lube oil, turbine oil, gearbox oil, neat cutting oil, and fluids for honing, grinding, polishing and washing machines are some of the typical applications where fluid cleanliness is very important for prolonging its life as well as those of the machines. CK200 and CK600 are the two models of skid that cover a large range of fluid capacities from 900 to 5000 LPM. Construction & operations: the portable and compact skid consists of a gear pump/centrifugal multistage pump and motor with necessary hoses and fittings. A non-return valve and a pressure relief valve are also provided. The front facia houses an hour meter, pressure gauge and a start/stop switch. The heart of the system is a centrifuge, which gets the drive from the pressure of the fluid. For diesel generator application the CK200 skid can be used either offline or online without disturbing the existing lube oil filtration set-up. The oil can be fed to the gear pump from the drain plug of the oil sump and the oil returning from the centrifuge can be sent back to the oil sump via the oil filler cap or through the crankcase door. Contamination removal down to 0.2 micron is achieved due to the tremendous centrifugal force acting on the contaminant particle, generated by the rotor RPM. The user has the flexibility to use the skid for a variety of applications such as removing dirt from diesel, gearbox oil, transmission oil, hydraulic oil, etc.
