Magnetic Separators

The magnetic drum separator (jawtype), is an essential accessory for coolant filtration on all types of grinding machines, gearcutting machines, CNCs, SPMs, etc. The unit consists of a rotating magnetic drum, which arrests all ferrous particles and these are then clearedoff into a swarf bin. The filtered coolant flows into the tank below from where it is delivered back to the machine tool by a suitable coolant pump. This design offers higher magnetic flux than the conventional cylindrical type. It also eliminates the rubber squeezer assembly, which is subject to wear and tear, thereby reducing maintenance. Cylindrical type magnetic drums are also manufactured for specific applications, wherever required.
