Magnetic Coolant Filter

The imported advanced rare earth extra high powerful magnetic coolant filter – SS plain drum type, is an extraordinarily powerful magnetic separator that uses rare-earth magnets to provide up to 8 times the magnetic force of conventional ferrite magnets driven by continuously rated geared motor of 40 watt motor, 3-phase, 750 RPM neoprene rubber scraper, etc. This magnetic coolant filter is available in standard models of 50, 65, 100, 150 LPM capacities. Higher capacity magnetic coolant filters can be manufactured as per requirements. Features: no consumables required, dry cake discharge; excellent efficacy even for separating materials having weak magnetic properties, such as, carbide and scale; superior contamination removal means improved surface finish, increased life of grinding wheel, reduced dressing frequency, increased life of fluid; kind to the environment, kind to the pocket by reducing the consumption of filter paper; and power consumption is just 40 W as compared to regular magnetic separators that consume 180 W of power. Comparison: in standard Indian magnetic separator, 20% of scale is removed from fluids, compared with imported magnetic separators, where 90-95% of scale is removed from the fluid. Also coolant becomes brighter than new fluid. Some of the application areas that benefit from rare earth magnetic fluid separation include: surface grinding; centre less grinding; internal/external grinding; thread grinding; honing; gear grinding; electric discharge machines; lapping; washing fluids; and can be used for compact band filters or paper band filters to reduce the consumption of filter paper rolls, etc.
