Magnetic Cum Paper Band Filters

The Micron brand filtration system comprises of a paper band filter and a magnetic separator. It is suitable for use on all types of grinding SPMs, CNC machines, etc. It provides automatic filtration of ferrous and nonferrous contaminants from circulating coolants and cutting oils. The contaminated coolant is fed through an inlet on to a rotating magnetic drum. The ferrous impurities adhere to the drum and are removed by the scraper. The coolant is then made to flow on to the filter paper, which in turn filters the minute ferrous and nonferrous particles. The paper, when choked moves forward automatically due to an electronic sensor device. The filtered coolant collects in the tank below and is recirculated to the machine through a suitable coolant pump. The system can also be installed on existing coolant tanks, if desired. Filtration systems are manufactured for flow capacities ranging from 50 LPM onwards as per customers' specific applications and requirements.
