Industrial Process Water Separation Filters

Fluid Control Equipments offers industrial process water separation filters – oil and water separators as per customer requirement. The machine basically provides a large surface area of filtration under a reduced foot print, by combining the filtration areas of a number of chambers. Filter presses are of two distinct types – recessed type, in which the filtration area and the cake holding volume are provided by the same filter plate and the plate and frame type, in which the cake holding volume is provided by hollow frames and the filtration area is provided on a filter plate. The recessed type filter plate has a central inlet and corner filtrate outlet(s). In the plate and frame type filter press, the inlet(s) are on one side of the press, while the outlet(s) are on the other side of the press. Fast settling solids and chemical precipitates are normally filtered in the recessed type press. Slow settling solids and biological suspensions are more easily separated in the plate and frame type press. Filter presses can be built in PP (which is compatible with most chemicals, but is limited by temperature), mild steel (which can tolerate high temperature, but is prone to rusting and chemical reactions) or stainless steel (which can work well with both temperature and a wide range of chemicals), depending on the applications. Applications include: activated carbon removal from sugar syrups for decolorisation; fruit juices and pulp filtration; edible oil filtration; lubricant and coolant oil filtration; stone cutting, tile polishing wash water filtration; yeast and bacterial filtrations; enzyme filtration; pharmaceutical purification and dewatering applications; essence and aromatic substance purification; ETP and STP sludge dewatering applications; and online electroplating and phosphating liquor filtration, etc. The company manufactures filter presses with various levels of automation, as per customer requirement.
