Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filter (HLF)

Sharpenn Technologies offers a horizontal pressure leaf filter (HLF). This equipment is user-friendly, made to save a lot in operating cost, compared to conventional plate and frame filters. The equipment is horizontal cylindrical vessel dished on both ends, having fixed head and retractable shell mounted on wheels; both are coupled by auto bayonet wedge locking arrangement. Filter leaves are mounted on stationary common manifold. Auto bayonet wedge locking retraction is operated by hydraulic power pack. Safety interlocking provision is available to avoid opening during operation. The HLF is equipped to open, retract, and close with in fraction of minutes by feather touch. No manpower is required for this operation. Closed and compact operation, the operation can be totally automatic. The lid gaskets, "O" rings can be provided with neoprene/nitrile/EPDM/viton/silicon/PTFE seals. Product contact parts and product non-contact parts can be made out of CS/SS 304/SS 316/SS 316 L/MSRL cloth enveloped filter elements for minimum capital investments. The major advantage is no requirement of filter cloth at all. Application: pharmaceuticals - bulk drugs, intermediates, edible; oil - wax, winterisation, nickel catalyst; pollution - dewatering of sludges; and petrochemicals - molten sulphur, speciality chemicals. The area of filtration is - 3 to 250 sq.m; and capacity in flow rates - 0.5 kL/hr to 500 kL/hr.
