Horizontal filter press

Mevish Engineering Works offers a sparkler type horizontal filter press, which consists of a filter cartridge assembly having SS filter plates, support springs interlocking cups and fitted in the SS tanks with pressure tight lid. It is provided with suitable pumps mounted on SS trolley fitted with fibre castors.Operations: the liquid to be filtered is pumped to the tank where it enters into the individual plates. It passes through the filter media (paper/cloth) and crystal clear filtrate comes out trough a central channel formed by interlocking cups. The cake formed between the plate can be obtained if required.Salient features: manufactured from SS 304/316/316L quality, argon arc welded and mirror polished; it can be provided with different types of pumps depending upon the viscosity of liquids and output, ie, gear pump/centrifugal pump/lobe pump; MS/SS jacket is provided for hot filtration; provided with by-pass system and safety valve; sample collecting device is provided; complete SS stand with fibre castor wheels and SS cover to the motor; arrangement provided to remove the last drop of liquid from scavenger plate; and used for crystal clear filtration of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, beverages, oil ink and other industry.
