Flamingo Fluid Filtration manufacturers high quality sintered bronze porous FFF filter elements for filtering liquids and gases produced by powder metallurgy method. It is produced from spherical bronze metal powders of closely controlled particle size to give a rigid porous bronze structure of uniform pore dimensions. The use of FFF filter elements is advised where the most permeable, inexpensive filtering element is required. As it is having a tin content of 11% they are non-corrosive towards most of chemical fluids. The whole basis of their structure and superior filtering qualities is in the spherical from of the metal powders used and the packing of the uniform spheres. Each pore represents the space contained between touching spheres and this determines the even and accurately controlled pore size. The ductility and strength of this metallic structure increases the resistance to impact and the suitability for high pressure filtration in both directions of flow. FFF filters are stronger than other types and because of their distinctive cellular structure they have a higher permeability for a given fineness of filtering. Application: filtration of gases; polymer filtration; pneumatic equipment; flow control devices; driers; compressors; bacteriological plants; mining equipments; steam and gas turbines. Other applications: sound silencer – damping discharge noise emitted by pneumatic equipments; and flame cutters – flame cutters are used in welding and electrical equipment as it prevents ignition temperature on other side and thus presents fire hazards.
