Filtration Systems

The filtration technology is mainly implemented for the removal of suspended impurities along with odour and colour, thus providing limited polishing to water and wastewater. Depending upon the media (sand, anthracite, activated carbon or filter cartridges) that is used for filtration, the names of the filters vary. Based upon the requirement the medium/media are placed in a pressurized steel vessel and water or wastewater is passed through the bed in order to remove the sediment contaminants from the water. Filtration is used as a pre-treatment method and works very well in the construction industry.
