Filter Housings

Kumar Process manufactures a complete range of single and multiple cartridge housings to cater to a wide range of applications in liquid and gas filtration. The standard range comprises metallic housings in SS 316 and carbon steel, lined and coated type, as well as non-metallic versions for corrosive fluids. Most filter housings are custom-designed for unique application to meet a wide range of operating parameters with respect to flow, temperature, pressure and piping orientation. These are available in single cartridge design as well as multi-cartridge design to handle large flow rates. They are suitable to adapt filter element of standard length like 10", 20", 30"(even 40"), having end configurations like DOE, Code 7, Code 3, etc, to suit all International designs. SS filter housings come with all Internal surfaces buffed to 180 grit, whereas electro-polished surfaces buffed to 240 grit are offered for sanitary design. Standard end connections are BSPF threaded type up to 1", and ASA 150 flanges for higher sizes. Other end connections like tri-clover, BS flanges and dairy couplings are also available. All housings are designed for a working pressure of 5.0 kg/cm?g as standard. High pressure designs for ratings up to 100 kg/cm?g are also offered.
