Easy clean strainer/filter

Vartsila produces easy clean strainer, which is a bucket type strainer that stops further ingress of dirt, pipe scales, grains of sand and other foreign particles into the downstream system. The transparent filter bowl of the unit eliminates guesswork as to whether or not the strainer is clogged and needs cleaning and also allows cleaning at the mere turn of a knob thus eliminating the need for a plumber. Cleaning can be done while the supply is on. There is no need to close the line while cleaning filter thus ensuring continuous supply of water. The gunmetal body and SS filter eliminate any rusting or de-zincification. Unlike as in 'Y' type strainer the filter screen of this strainer is made from wire mesh, which has smaller sized pores enabling the filtration of even the small dirt particles that a 'Y' type strainer cannot. Simple design and minimal parts make it practically maintenance-free.
