CP Filters

Cole-Parmer India offers CP filters developed by Chisso Filter Co, Japan. These filters are available in three types: CP Filter, CP II Filter, and CP Filter Type H (CPH Filter). CP Filter is constructed using only polyolefin fibres (ES fibres). The contact points of the constituent fibres are firmly bonded. Very stable filtration can be achieved without pore size transformation or media migration. CP II Filter is composed of thermally bonded special polypropylene fibres. The fibre contacts are thermally bonded to eliminate pore opening and provide optimal particle retention even under high pressure. This also keeps the cartridges clean without media migration. CP Filter Type H shares the same features as CP Filter, but this filter consists of only thermo-bondable polyester fibres. Applications: CP filters find applications in: automobile paints industry – metallic and mica-based filtration, CED paints, pre-ultra filtration; food and beverage industry – potable water, soft drinks, edible oils, brewery, juices; electronics – cleaning water for IC-base, etching solutions, liquid crystals, magnetic coatings, ceramics; water treatment – washing water, pre-filtration for pure water; pharmaceuticals – dialyser, healthcare beverages, cosmetics, flavours; and chemical industry – industrial coatings, printing inks, resins, adhesives, solvents, surfactants. They can be also used for filtration of gases, compressed air, thermal pigments, dyes, and many other capacities.
