Power Technics (India) offers Centrifugal Air Pre-cleaners manufactured by KleanAire Solutions Company, for longer filter life and better engine performance. How it works: contaminated air enters the pre-cleaner through a pre-screen that filters off the larger debris; it then flows through specially designed, static angled vanes causing the air to spin; as air spins, a centrifugal force is created and it separates dust, contaminants from the air stream; the swirling air drives a high velocity rotor that acts as a sweeper, evacuating the dirt and contaminants through discharge ports located at the bottom of the pre-cleaner; and only purified air flows into the filter element.
