Bypass Filters

The Racor Bypass Filters, LFS Series removes dirt, varnish, ash, tar, soot and other contaminants that full-flow filters cannot remove from engine’s oil and hydraulic systems. This system also removes condensed water, which forms component-damaging acids if left in the oil. The Racor Bypass Oil Series removes 99.5% of damaging contaminants to minimize wear and extends engine component life. The polishing effect of the LFS Series and the use of the Racor Oil Analysis system will allow the engine oil or hydraulic fluid service intervals to be extended. By reducing the disposal of waste oil, the system also contributes to preserving the environment.
