Breathers

Tri-Millennial Design and Service Engineers offers Breather, Des-Case Hydroguard. It is designed to isolate lubricants from ambient dirt and humidity. The breathers incorporate desiccant, filtration and membrane technology to effectively stop ingression. The diaphragm allows for expansion and contraction of the air within the casing as a result of temperature variations during steady state operations. Check valves provide slight system pressurisation, which allows for controlled breathing without excessive temperature build-up. Hydroguard is the ideal breather solution for gearboxes, pumps, and storage drums and totes where high levels of moisture or particulate occur in the environment. Typical applications are found in food processing, forest products, pulp and paper, mining and steel industries.
