Puric basket filters are the low cost answer to a variety of liquid clarification needs. The basic filter is floor-mounted, in-line pressure vessel consisting of a tubular housing in which the filter media is supported by a 316 stainless steel basket. Single filters are offered in separate models with flow rate up to 250 gpm. Duo filters consist of two single filter units connected in parallel to 3-way valves. Duo filters are usually rated for the same flow as single filters. That's because in most applications one filter unit is valved offstream, while the other is continuous filtering.
