Baghouses with Long Filter Bags

FLSmidth Private Limited offers Baghouses designed with 10-meter Long Filter Bags. FLSmidth is a pioneer in developing long filter bag technology. 6-mtr filter bag was used in a FabriClean Pulse-Jet design in 1998 for a cement kiln in Norway. The original set of filter bags were in operation for 8 years prior to replacement. With more than 300 Fabriclean baghouses in operation with 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10-mtr long bags, FLSmidth is seeing a growth in the number of baghouses with 10-mtr long bags installed. Innovative design technology combined with many years of application knowledge enables the company to continue the evolution of the Fabriclean design. Its goal is to deliver innovative baghouse design including the highest particulate removal efficiency. At the same time, the company continues to develop unique solutions that have reduced both capital expense as well as operation and maintenance costs for its customers. The 10-mtr long filter bags have been thoroughly tested in pilot at FLSmidth’s R&D facility in Dania, Denmark. The technology developed has unique gas and particulate distribution throughout the Fabriclean baghouse, ensuring the lowest achievable differential pressure across the entire baghouse. The key to using 10-mtr long filter bags is the ability to clean the filter bags efficiently from top to bottom with minimum flex fatigue to the filter media. The FLSmidth team at AFT (advanced filtration technologies) in Evans, USA, developed the precise bag-to-cage fit, which is critical to achieving maximum filter bag lifetime.
