Water Solenoid Valve, Magnetically Latching

General Imsubs offers a wide range of water solenoid valves used in home appliances like washing machines, dish washers, UV water purifiers, domestic RO water purification systems, auto taps and sensor taps, auto flushing systems, dental equipments, irrigation systems and industrial water control. Since these are made for water application, they offer better life than conventional valves, which are designed for other fluids like air, gas or oils. The company produces 4 different types of valves, viz., pilot operated (high pressure-high flow), direct acting-wet armature (high pressure-low flow) and direct acting-dry armature type (very low pressure-high flow) and direct acting-wet armature (very low pressure-high flow-low cost). Water solenoids are made from plastics hence are having better resistance to corrosion, scaling and has built in removable and cleanable filter for longer service life. They are available in wide range of connections from ¼” BSP to 1” BSP and wide range of coils including bistable latching coils. Many models are available in food contact compatible construction, which may not be the case in conventional solenoid valves. The company also offers magnetically latching solenoid valves for the first time in India, which are widely used in automatic sensor taps and flushing systems. These valves consume very little power as actuation and de-actuation is done by using very small time pulse of current. Generally this pulse is of 60 mS, which means this type of valve can operate for more than 250 000 cycles using 4 AA size alkaline batteries. Mechanical life of this type of valve is more than 400 000 operations.
