Valves, Cylinder Head, Fork Tube & Manifold

Established in 1988-1989 with the licensed capacity to produce 7500 valves per annum, Nagpur-based NSSL Limited is part of the 2000 crore Neco Group. NSSL has enhanced its capacity to 12000 valves per year by introducing CNC machines and is now manufacturing valves as large as 44” in size and pressure class up to ANSI 2500 psi in cast carbon steel, stainless steel and various alloy steels for different applications. With a range that includes ferrous valves, non-ferrous valves, aluminium foundry products (cylinder head, cylinder block, piston, engine components, front fork outer tube, alloy wheels) and valves for critical applications, the products are designed, manufactured and supplied to the international standards such as gate valves as per API-600, API-6D and BS-1414, globe valves as per BS-1873 and swing check valves as per BS-1868. The system and procedures established in the company have been audited, accepted and certified by Det Norske Veritas, for ISO 9001:1994. While the valves manufactured in the unit are being used in the core sector projects and replacements, the aluminium products are supplied to various auto sector companies like M&M, Tata, International Tractors, Indofarm, Simpsons & Co, Usco (Italy), Shriram Auto/Garima Global and Alabama Cylinder Head/Top Line/Diesel Head USA. The company facilities include two steel foundries having capacity to produce steel, alloy steel and stainless steel castings, weighing from 1 kg to 1 tonne, single piece weight. The group has established these two foundries with an installed capacity of 250 tonnes per month. The modern sophisticated infrastructure facilities, such as, spectrometer, physical test of raw material, magnetic particle examination test, die-penetrant test, radiography examination, ultrasonic examination, intergranual corrosion test, impact test at -460C and -1960C and microstructure of raw materials. The shop has special machines for hard facing and seat ring welding. The PTA machine for stelliting is as per latest plasma technique. The company has its own painting and packing facilities.
