Forbes Marshall offers a new 14” Jacketed Valve. Forbes Marshall is a leading manufacturer of valves also makes special valves for as per specific customer requirements. The Company successfully designed this as per requirements from a customer for an Ethyl Acetate Project. This valve is mounted at the out let of reactor through which Ehtyl Glycol Vapour (mixture of gas) flows. This gas comes out in a vacuum condition from the top of the reactor. Due to the vacuum, sometimes few solid particles of ethyl glycol paste also flows with the gas. These solid particles tend to stick inside the valve body and to the seat area due to which the flow inside the valve gets stuck. To covert these sticky paste particles into a gaseous form and to keep the valve flow path continuously clean, the valve is heated by passing the high temperature thermic fluid through the jacket.
