Jacketed Ball Valves, 1-Piece

Mevada Engineering Works offers Saturn® 1-piece, split body, side entry design full bore jacketed ball valves for maintaining the temperature status of fluid from solidifying. The jacket is designed for 10 kg/cm² steam/hot water pressure. CS jackets for CS valves and SS jackets for SS valves are provided for enhancing the life of jacket against corrosion. Standard supplies include ¼” NPT jacket connections for inlet, outlet and drainage. Special filled TFE renewable seats are provided to withstand the high temperature up to 230°C, assuring positive seating. Other features: floating ball – where sealing takes place by allowing ball to move under pressure towards the down stream seat to achieve positive tight shut-off; antistatic device – a safety feature, i.e., when static is generated and concentrated on the ball due to solvents and high velocity, spring-loaded balls are installed on the stem which keeps continuity throughout the valve and discharges the static; pyramidal stem – wherein first stage of defence against leakage, the tapered face of the stem collar gets line contact with body and blocks all leak path after wearing of thrust seal (washer); blow out proof stem – internally inserted and functions as the back seat for assured stem sealing at all pressures; live loaded gland packing – to avoid frequent and positive gland tightening; long heighten lever – facilitates easy operation and insulation/puffing on the valve body and pipeline; compliance standards – B16.34, BS 5351, BS 6755-1, ANSI B 16.5, ANSI B 16.10; sizes – 25-150 mm; class – 150 and 300; and options – long extended stem-stuffing box from 3” to 6” can be provided to suit insulating/puffing and to monitor atmosphere leakage. Pneumatic and electric actuator operations can be provided.
