Globe valves, flanged ends

Globe valves are used for frequent ON-OFF service and where throttling or both throttling and Shut-Off are required. The body is designed for meeting tough operating conditions. The bonnet is fitted with bonnet bush to guide the stem and provide the back seating when the valve is open and under pressure. The swivel type 13% CR, deposited/alloy disc provides a fine bearing on a tapper seat for tight sealing and has narrow line contact in between disc and seat ring to achieve tight sealing even if any outside particle gets stuck to the sealing area. Forged shoulder type, threaded body seating has a wide tapered seating are, tack-welded with body to prevent loosening and provided slots for easy removal while servicing. The seating surfaces are ground and lapped. A two-piece gland arrangement is made with a super surface finish to hold 6 packing rings, to avoid friction, scoring and ensures uniform load on packing rings. Valves are made with flanged and buttweld ends to standard specifications.
