Forged Steel Ball Valves

Caliber Valves offers Forged Steel Ball Valves. These valves are designed as per BS. 5351 with class 300/800 rating. They are offered with three-piece full port construction. The end connections are screwed BSP female/socket weld. These valves are offered in sizes from 15 mm (1/2"), to 50 mm (2"). These valves with more rigid single piece construction with screwed end connections-BSP female/socket weld-are also offered in sizes 15 mm (1/2") to 50 mm (2"). On specific occasions these are offered with welded flanges. The material of construction for body and end pieces are forged carbon steel to ASTM A 106/forged stainless steel to AISI 304/AISI 316, ball-stainless steel as per ASTM 351 Gr CF8, spindle and gland as per AISI 304. The seats and seal are of trouble free operations. The operating torque is reasonably low for easy and quick operation. These valves are suitable for practically all applications for steam, hot water, compressed air and other fluids subjected to a maximum operating temperature of 180°C.
