Enclosed Type Pinch Valves

The versatile Flex-Valve 6000 Series enclosed type pinch valves handle a variety of environmental applications requiring flow control or shut-off of abrasive slurries, corrosive fluids, sludge, and other flow media. The inert, elastomer sleeve spans the entire length of the valve, and is the only part of the valve exposed to the corrosive line process. This unique sleeve design economically solves the Fugitive Emissions problem, and Flex-Valve 6000 Series valves are suitable for adaptation to virtually every type of actuator for on/off or modulating service. These valves are available in standard and heavy duty configurations for closing against high line pressures. The prepinched valve design allows immediate flow control upon stem motion to close the valve. For flow control or shutoff, the rubber sleeve is pinched by the clamping effect of the mechanism at the centre of the sleeve. When the valve is in the open position, the contour of the rubber sleeve assures unobstructed flow without dead spots or cavities.
