Electrically Actuated Ball Valves For Flow Control

Spraying Systems Co, USA, manufactures electrically actuated ball valves for controlling the flow of liquid in a spraying system. In the open position, the ball valve allows unrestricted flow at pressures up to 20 bar. When closed, it can stop or divert liquid almost instantaneously. The response time is one second. The ball valve is available in two versions: two way shut-off and three-way shut-off/bypass. Both these models have a motor with forward and reverse operation. It can fit to a 12-V DC system and draws 1 ampere current during operation. These valves are constructed of corrosion-resistant PTFE, polypropylene and glass-reinforced nylon and can be easily assembled, disassembled, and installed.
