Dome Valve

Rieco Industries manufactures the dome valve, DV. This is designed to close the solid flow gastight at inlet and outlet of pressure vessel in dense phase pneumatic transport of solids in powder or granular form. The design is widely used for abrasive solids such as flyash, coal, foundry sand, alumina and other minerals. Design features: simple and field proven design; designed to open and close in static and dynamic solids column; gastight design through large size inflatable seal; seal location outside solids flow, minimum wear and tear of seal; pressure for sealing <1 bar above system pressure; integrated pneumatic control for protection of inflatable seal; powerful pneumatic actuator; no moving parts outside package unit, maximum care for human protection; large size indicator for dome position; delivery as package unit with single solenoid pneumatic valve for seal, limit switches and terminal box, completely pre-piped and pre-wired; designed for maximum system pressure of 9.0 bar g, maximum solids temperature of 180&176;C and 500&176;C for water cooled version; flanges drilled to match DIN 2501-PN 10 or ANSI B 16.5 150 PSI; hardened dome for long life; and, highly durable even at high switching frequencies. Material of construction: housing made of carbon steel/ stainless steel; dome, shaft and connecting parts made of stainless steel, and seal made of silicon rubber.
