Discharge Valves

Fouress engineering offers Discharge Valve. This butterfly-type pump discharge valve is a conventional butterfly valve, with a counterweight and hydraulic cylinder actuating it. The reliability of operating speeds are ensured by means of highly reliable pressure - temperature compensated flow control valves precisely monitoring the flow of oil to or from the cylinder, as outlined further on. Since they are lockable, the full system becomes tamper proof. Hydraulic system of actuation has been chosen for its high reliability, dependability and its incompressible quality, which at the same time ensures fast operation. Since hydraulic system is offered, the company is also extending the scope of supply to include not only the valve but also the operating system including a hydraulic panel, an electrical panel, batteries and battery charging accessory (if required) as they are specially engineered to suit the system. Features: better control over the opening and closing times; eliminates the dominance of striction on the shafts as the valves are not self-acting; opening and closing of the valve, either manually or from external sources, is another major maintenance advantage, especially in the case of large-sized valves (i.e., above ND 1000); eliminates the necessity for a separate isolating valve as it combines the function of both a non-return valve and an isolating valve, as used in the conventional type of non-return valve system; etc.
