Coatings & Linings For Valves & Fittings

Kejriwal Castings is one of the pioneers in India, in the field of ductile iron/cast iron products, viz., pipes, fittings, valves, etc. These are now available with Multi Coating Options, both external and internal. External coating options include: bituminous paint and zinc primer; epoxy painting; fusion bonded epoxy powder coating; and rilsan coating. Bituminous paint and zinc primer: as a normal course, all fittings are spray painted with a coat of zinc rich primer and black bituminous paint. Epoxy painting: epoxy spray painting can be done on all items, viz., pipes, fittings, valves for superior finish and excellent corrosion resistance against sea water and others. Fusion bonded epoxy powder coating: electrostatic fusion bonded epoxy powder coating can be done on all items viz. pipes, fittings, valves for ultra superior finish and excellent corrosion resistance against sea water and mild acid alkaline solutions. Rilsan coating: can be done if required by clients on pipes, fittings and valves. Internal linings: the ductile iron products are normally supplied with cement mortar lining. The following linings may be applied depending on the internal conditions of use: Portland cement mortar; blast furnace slag cement mortar; high alumina (calcium aluminate) cement mortar; sulphite resistant cement (SRC) lining; and bituminous paint.
