Butterfly Valve

SKS 110” (PN-10 rated) and SKS 116 (PN-16 rated) are a range of butterfly valves from Project Equipment. These are CI butterfly valves, with ductile iron (electro-less nickel plated) disc, single piece CS through shaft and phenolic backed replaceable EPDM sleeve. The maximum temperature rating is: 40°C to +120°C, (-50°C to +150°C intermittent). SKS 120 (PN-10 rated): this is a CI butterfly valve, with SS 316 (CF 8M) disc, single piece SS 304 (CF8) through shaft, and phenolic backed replaceable EPDM sleeve. The maximum temperature rating is: 40°C to +120°C, (-50°C to +150°C intermittent). Design criteria and advantages: simple mounting/easy automation and retrofit possible; long service life with little or nil maintenance; anti-blowout spindle/suitable for high vacuum conditions; 100% bi-directional tight shut off through centric valve disc and shaft position; symmetric/streamlined valve disc and profile, therefore little pressure loss; bushing supported shaft bottom for low torque requirement; and weather shaft and pressure surge seals eliminate all possible leakages.
