Bellows Seal Globe Valve

Commonly in conventional gland packed valves most frequently, gland leakges are observed which apart from high cost of energy losses, can also result in serious environmental, ecological and often hazardous problems. Also, they require continuous maintenance which creates difficulties in plant operation causing considerable monetary losses. These problems can be handled by installing Unique make bellows sealed valves as the glands are sealed with a bellows assembly to have absolute zero leakage. In Unique make bellows seal valves, the bellows completely surrounds and seals the upper stem of the valve with a flexible metallic barrier. The flexibility of the bellows allows it to expand or contract corresponding to the stem motion. The bellows are welded to the stem on the lower end and to the valve bonnet or closure on the upper end to produce a hermetic seal around the stem. The process fluid enters the valve and wets the exterior surface of the bellows, but the bellows prevent the fluid from wetting the upper stem or escaping through the upper opening to the environment. Unique make bellows seal valves totally eliminate media loss due to valve stem leakage. They are ideal for hazardous or toxic media, heat transfer fluids or stearn. Also, they do not need constant inspection and adjustment, therefore, maintenance costs are sharply reduced. In addition, Unique make bellows seal valves eliminate downtime required to replace packing and free frozen valve stems. These valves are available in sizes from 15 mm to 150 mm and pressures up to 80 bar and temperatures up to 450?C. Valves are produced in varieties of materials, ie, cast carbon steel, cast stainless steel, cast Alloy 20, etc, and also available with IBR Certificate.
