Mevada Engineering Works offers Saturn® brand 3-way, 4 seated ball valves suitable for diverting and mixing applications in configuration of ‘L’ and ‘T’ port type for filtration equipments and allied services. Salient features: centralised ball – via 4 seats assures positive tight shut-off and ease of operation based on trunnion principle; seats – (4 seated) moulded PTFE and reinforced TFE renewable seats facilitate any port to configure as inlet and outlet; anti-static device – an safety feature, i.e., when static are generated and concentrated on the ball due to solvents and high velocity, the spring-loaded ball are installed on the stem which keeps continuity throughout the valve and discharges the static; pyramidal stem – wherein first stage of defence against leakage, the tapered face of the stem collar gets line contact with body and blocks all leak path after thrust seal (washer) is worn out; lower emission seal ring – for fugitive emission; blow out proof stem – internally inserted and functions as the back seat for assured stem sealing at all pressures, renewable seat and seals; live loaded gland packing – to avoid frequent and positive gland tightening against high number of cycles; compliance standards – B 16.34, BS 5351, BS 6755-1, ANSI B 16.10; size – 15-250 mm; class – 150 and 300; and options – full or reduced port, tandem operated (twin valves with 1 lever), down port arrangement, pneumatic and electric actuator operations can also be provided.
