Ball valves

Valtec Controls offers speciality ball valves, which conform to ANSI B 16.104 class VI leakage. These ball valves are reduced bore/full bore valves of 3-piece sandwich construction with 2-body connectors forming the pipe to valve connections. The connectors are available in screwed or socket weld ends. The body of the valves fit in between the connectors and contain ball, PTFE body connectors, seal and stem assembly. The corrosion resistant ball is held between he body connector bolting. This ensures leak-tight shut-off in both direction under pressure of vacuum conditions. The stem assembly in corporate an anti-blowout stem inserted from inside the body. The seal is effected by spring on the stem and body. The use of PTFE for all sealing members results in low torque valve suitable for a wide variety of services and conditions.
