Mevada Engineering Works offers Saturn brand 3-piece swing out design full bore screwed and socket weld end ball valves. On-line maintenance in this valve is fast and economical by removing three body stud-nuts, where the body rests on one stud-nut and ball, and seats and seals are easily replaceable without dismantling valve from the pipeline. Socket weld ends can be provided with 4" long nipples to suit butt-weld pipe connection. It is economic and time saving upon dismantling and re-assembling of valve for carrying out welding on pipeline with complete features like: floating ball ? where sealing takes place by allowing ball to move under pressure towards the down stream seat to achieve positive tight shut-off; seats ? special pressure relief holes designed to prevent dangerous cavity thermal expansion assuring positive seating and lower operating torque in closed condition; antistatic device ? an safety feature, i.e., when static is generated and concentrated on the ball due to solvents and high velocity, the spring-loaded ball is installed on the stem which keeps continuity throughout the valve and discharges the static; pyramidal stem ? wherein first stage of defence against leakage, the tapered face of the stem collar gets line contact with body and blocks all leak path after wearing of thrust seal (washer); lower emission seal ring ? for fugitive emission; blow out proof stem ? internally inserted and functions as the back seat for assured stem sealing at all pressures, renewable seat and seals; live loaded gland packing ? to avoid frequent and positive gland tightening against high number of cycles; ISO 5211 mounting pad ? that facilitates easy mounting of operating devices (or) hardware; and compliance standards ?
