Ball Valves

Mevada Engineering offers Ball Valves. These are wafer type, uni-body side entry designed. These are ideally suitable for space, less stress on pipeline and cost saver installation in all kind of process and utility services, whereby valve gets sandwiched between the flanges with the help of sub-ends. Salient features: floating ball: where sealing takes place by allowing ball to move under pressure towards the down stream seat to achieve positive tight shut-off; seats: moulded PTFE and reinforced TFE seats assures positive seating and lower operating torque; anti-static device: an safety feature, i.e., when static are generated and concentrated on the ball due to solvents and high velocity, the spring-loaded ball are installed on the stem which keeps continuity throughout the valve and discharges the static; pyramidal stem: wherein first stage of defence against leakage, the tapered face of the stem collar gets line contact with body and blocks all leak path after thrust seal (washer) is worn out; lower emission seal ring for fugitive emission; blow out proof stem - internally inserted and functions as the back seat for assured stem sealing at all pressures, renewable seat and seals; live loaded gland packing - to avoid frequent and positive gland tightening against high number of cycles; long heightened lever - facilitates easy operation and insulation/puffing on the valve body and pipeline. Specifications: compliance standards - B 16.34, BS 5351, BS 6755-1; size - 40-150 mm; class - 150; and options - electro polished (buff) finish and ultra clean valves. Applications: for food and pharmaceutical industries, pneumatic and electric actuator operations can be provided.
