Axial Valves

Schrader Duncan Limited, P neumatics Business Unit, a leading manufacturer of wide range of pneumatic products that include pneumatic cylinders, valves, FRLs and Accessories, has now added axial valves to its range. Axial valves are innovative improvisation over conventional ball valve assembled with rotary actuator on them. The main flow is from centre axis and valve actuation is by operation of hollow piston. Schrader axial valves are all SS construction making these compatible with a wide range of media. The design is compact and streamlined occupying minimum space the ports being in line. Viton seals are provided as standard to withstand high temperature up to 180°C and are compatible to air, water, oil, hydrocarbons, etc. Pneumatic actuation can be achieved by directly connecting compressed air to 1/8” BSP port or by using 3/2, 5/2 or 5/3 Namur valve. Standard valve supplied is in normally closed version. By shifting the spring from backside to front side, it is easily converted to normally open type and by removing the spring it becomes a double acting valve. Available in 1”, 1-1/2” and 2” port size having flow rates of 16,53 and 75 Cv respectively, these have applications in wide cross section of industries as on-off valve.
