Automatic Drain Valve-Condensate Sensing Type

Series LDV, Trident's condensate sensing type automatic drain valves, are the latest advancement in drain valve technology. Water with oil and dust condenses in air receivers, filters, after coolers, etc. If the condensate is not removed, it enters the machinery and affects the performance. Instead of operating through cyclic timer, these valves sense the condensate level for activation ensuring absolutely no loss of compressed air and hence enormous energy saving. The condensate level is sensed electronically and there are no moving parts in the sensor. Hence the sensor can handle pure water up to very oily condensates reliably. An intelligent controller opens valve when the condensate reaches upper level of the sensor and closes when the condensate reaches the lower level. The controller also detects valve or probe failure and takes suitable action. Since no air is vented, the valve is totally noise free. The controller has a test/manual override switch. It is presently available for condensate removal up to 530 ltr/hr. The operating voltage is 230 V AC and pressure 6 bar (g). The end connection is 1/2" BSP (F).
