Ahmedabad-based Darling Muesco (India) Pvt Ltd manufactures automatic control valves that are hydraulically operated (line fluid operated), diaphragm actuated and pilot assisted globe pattern valves. Various types of pilots help in achieving various controls/functions for regulating liquid flow. The valve is open fully when there is not pressure in the cover chamber and when there is at least 5-psig-line pressure at the valve inlet. The valve closes when line pressure is directed into the valve cover chamber above the diaphragm. An independent operating supply may be used if the pressure is equal to or greater than the pressure at the valve inlet. Area above the diaphragm being larger, the same pressure closes the valve. Modulating action can be obtained by installing a control system to the basic valve. Various controls are available to modulate and compensate for pressure, flow rate, or liquid level changes.
