Autodrain Valves

Omicron Engineers offers efficient Drainsdry autodrain valves. Compressed air is used commonly as an effective medium in the industrial PRODUCTion process. When air is compressed, its volume reduces and temperature increases resulting in high moisture concentration. The hot wet air forms rust in air pipelines, washes off lubricant in air tools, forms a gummy emulsion damaging/malfunction of control instruments, valves and cylinders. It causes spots while spray painting and affects sand blasted parts. Pressure drops created results in higher cost of maintaining compressed air systems. Automatically and at preset periodic intervals Drainsdry removes condensate from air receivers, filters, separators, after coolers, intercoolers, dryers, and drain points near CNC machines throughout the day every day. Adjustable are the cycle time from 1 to 60 minutes and discharge time from 1 to 8 seconds. Electronic parts are set in tough moulding to withstand vibration and industrial conditions. Critical parts are made of rust-proof aluminium and stainless steel. The valve needs minimum maintenance and is serviceable on line. Applications include all facets of industry including painting, plastic PRODUCTion, food packaging and processing, shotblasting, ship and aircraft buildings, auto and general engineering, and chemical industry.
