Antimonial Lead Valves

Shah Enterprises produces antimonial lead valves and fittings manufactured from special alloy of lead containing 6 to 8% antimony. Controlled proportion of antimony in the lead antimony alloys improves considerably the mechanical properties of lead, such as better resistance to vibration, higher tensile strength and high creep strength without any effect on the corrosion resistance of the metal. Valves such as Y, globe, non-retum, Y-type globe are manufactured as per various manufacturing standards and are available in flanged or screwed end connections. Fittings such as elbows, tees, cross, reducers and bends are manufactured in screwed or flanged ends from hard lead (antimonial lead) as per various manufacturing standards. Hard lead fittings and valves have various applications in different process industries. They are suitable for handling chromic acid, phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid, aluminium sulphate, super phosphates, rayon solution, acetone, alcohol and chromates.
