Actuators for valves & dampers

Supriya Automation manufactures a range of Rotary pneumatic actuators. The Scotch yoke mechanism adopted produces high starting and ending torque compared to torque at mid position, which matches to the torque characteristics of all quarter turn valves. The starting and ending torques can be varied by the use of canted scotch yoke construction. It is a cost effective solution for automating the operation of all large size quarter turn valves like ball, butterfly, plug and dampers which require higher starting and (or) ending torque. The company offers double acting and single acting spring return actuators up to 25,000 NM torque. Bi-directional end travel adjustment is a standard feature of these actuators.The actuators are tested, in-house for cyclic test with continuous load and are also tested for the instantaneous torque performance for 0 to 90? operations under full load. These actuators can be supplied with mechanical (screw jack or de-clutchable gearbox) or hydraulic manual overrides to operate the valves in case of air/power failure. Failsafe systems with volume bottles can be supplied for emergency operation. The company also manufactures rotary limit switch boxes and linear limit switch boxes, both in weather proof and explosion proof construction.
