2/2-Way Angle Type Pneumatically Actuated Control Valves

Precision Instrument Co introduces its FCY-200 Series of Flocon 2/2-way angle type pneumatically actuated control valves. They have been designed and developed considering a variety of applications in process control automation industries. These are direct operated, angle type, pneumatically actuated valves and can be controlled externally by 3/2-way pilot operated solenoid valves. They have operational characteristics like On-Off, normally closed and normally open functions. These valves are designed by taking the advantage of spring action, fluid, pressure and the advanced technology of control valves. In normally closed type configuration, the valve is closed by the spring action and fluid pressure. When the actuator is pressurised, the piston and plug are lifted up and the valve is open. In normally open type configuration, the valve is opened by the spring action and the fluid pressure. When the actuator is pressurised, the piston and plug are lowered down and the valve is closed. FCY-200 Series valves include sizes ranging from 1/2"BSP (F)/NPT(F) to 2"BSP (F)/NPT(F). The material of construction for the main body and bonnet of the valve is investment casting as per ASTM351 CF8 (SS 304) and CF8M(SS 316). The actuator is spring return type pneumatic cylinder. The actuator parts are die cast aluminium with Al-Si solution treated to offer leak-free design. These valves are also designed as per pressure temperature rating of ANSI Class 300 and are suitable for fluid temperature up to 180?C. These valves are of self cleaning type and all the internal parts have excellent interchangeability resulting in efficient service. FCY-200 Series valves prove themselves as import substitute and energy saving devices as the consumption of air is minimum and the required air pressure is about 2.5 to 6 bar. These valves are reliable and serve as techno-economical solutions for automation.
