Water Ring Vacuum Pumps

R.K Industries offers Water Ring Vacuum Pumps. These pumps are available in various construction and design to suit continuous vacuum application. The pumps consist of dynamically balanced impeller with multi-vanes and eccentrically mounted in a casing, rotate at motor RPM and imparts centrifugal force to water introduced in a casing to from a ring against the main casing wall. Pocket volumes are formed with the action of the hub, blades of the impeller and the liquid surface. The pockets increasing with angular displacement are connected to the outlet part. The water ring thus acts as sealing as well as cooling agent. The pumps are available in various materials of construction as under: complete CI construction; CI body and bronze control plate and impeller; complete SS 304 and SS 316 construction; and cast steel body and impeller. Capacity range: 50 mh3/hr (3 HP) to 440 mh3/hr (20 HP). Applications: pumps are suitable for distillation, deaeration, filtration, priming, evaporation, condenser exhausting, moisture extracting, solvent recovery, pneumatic conveying and dredging installations. Also available are oil sealed vacuum pump and rotary gear pump. Salient features: suitable for continuous service for applications such as evaporation, drying, filtration, distillation, impregnation etc.; minimum lubrication and noise free operation; easy to dismantle, does not disturb pipeline at water connection; and no contamination with process fluid.
