Kirloskar Brothers offers KV Series, Vacuum pumps. These are single suction, single delivery, high speed, horizontal, centrifugal, monobloc pumps .Specifications: range - vacuum up to 650 mm of mercury; air flow rate up to 55 cubic metres per hour; power rating - 0.75 kW and 2.2 kW (1.0 HP and 3.0 HP); direction of rotation - anti-clockwise, when viewed from pump side; material of construction (standard) - rotor (impeller) made of bronze, delivery casing of cast iron, motor of cast iron and shaft in carbon steel (as option the shaft is available in stainless steel). Features: can withstand wide voltage fluctuations from 180 to 240 V for single phase, from 300 to 440 V for three phase; models come with "B" class of insulation and IP 44 protection; models in three phase AC power supply can be supplied with IP-55 protection on request; designed to prevent overloading and motor burning; long life due to replaceable wearing parts; dynamically balanced rotating parts ensure minimum vibrations; and easy maintenance and spares availability. Applications: priming of large pumps; evacuation of air from suction pipes and chambers. General applications: drying, evaporation, distillation, filtration, sterilisation, condensation degasification, sucking gases. Specific applications: twist drilling machine, removing water from pulp layer, labelling, bottle filling de-odorising.
